Revenue Deficit has been brought down by 7,000
Crore.
·
The revised
budget estimate had pegged the revenue deficit at 58,692.68 Crore for 2021-22.
·
Fiscal
deficit has been brought down to 3.80% from 4.33% in budget estimate for 2021-22.
·
TN government
to set up Industrial parks in Coimbatore, Tiruvallur Perambalur, Vellore,
Madurai to attract investments of Rs 50,000 Crore.
‘Naan
Mudhalvan’ Scheme;
·
The Chief
Minister’s project for upgrading skills of
students.
·
50 Crores have been allocated
Muvalur Ramamirtham Ammayyar Scheme;
Ø Muvalur Ramamirtham Ammayyar Memorial Marriage
Financial Assistance Scheme has been converted into Muvalur
Ramamirtham Ammayyar Higher Education Guarantee Scheme, 1000 per
month.

Mobile
information Centres will be set up with help of NGOs for migrant labourers to
seek help.
·
In
Kanchipuram, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Tiruvallur and Chengalpattu.
·
The Tamil
Nadu government will bear the full cost of
undergraduate education of
students who studies in Government schools from
classes 6-12 who are planning to
join in premier institutions like IIT, IISC
& amp; AIIMS.
Perasiriyar Anbazhagan School Development Scheme;
·
To modernise
government schools in next 5 years (18,000),
·
149 Samathuvapurams, which have
been neglected without maintenance for the last ten years, will be renovated in
the first phase at a cost of 190 Crore.
·
An allocation
of 30 crore to TANSIM to assist
start-ups stared by Adidravidar and Tribal
Entrepreneurs.
·
Allocation of
2,800 Crore
for Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA) Scheme for
the financial year 2022-23.
·
50 Crore for
the Particularly vulnerable tribal group Irula for housing.
·
The
government has planned to establish a Tamil Nadu
Institute Mental Health & Neuro Science, by upgrading the
Institute of Mental Health (IMH), Kilpauk.
·
Bookfair will
be conducted at the district level and four literary festivals will be held
every year.
·
In his speech
Finance Minister said “2000 leading chess player
from 150 countries are expected
to compete in the Chess Olympiad to be held in
Chennai. This will be a turning point in the field of sports in
Tamil Nadu”.
·
25 Crore will
be allocated for the Tamil Nadu Olympic (44) gold
medal search program.
·
Thanthai EVR Periyar’s writing and radical thoughts
will be translated into 21 Languages and released at the cost of Rs 5 Crore.
·
‘Project Nilgiri Tahr’ to protect & amp; conserve
the ‘State Animal’ of Tamil Nadu with a budger of 10 Crores.
·
The Vallalar Biodiversity Conservation Project will be implemented at a cost of 20 Crore
to mark the 200th birth anniversary of Vallalar.
·
The
Government will set up the “Tamil Nadu Green
Climate Change Fund” to combat climate change and provide adequate
funding of risk mitigation and green project.
·
5 Crore deep
sea excavation will be carried out in Korkai.
·
60 Crore
special fund to provide basic infrastructure in newly formed corporations at 10
Crore each.
·
For 28 new municipalities
2 Crore each with total of 56 Crores will be provide.
·
The
government will set up a botanical garden at a cost of Rs.300 Crore near Chennai in
partnership with.
· Development of “Knowledge City” with help of global level institutions participation.

of Medical Education – Responsible for providing tertiary care and medical
education.
·
Directorate
of Medical and Rural Health Services – responsible for providing secondary care
and regulations as appropriate authority.
·
Directorate
of Public Health and Preventive Medicine – responsible for providing preventive
and Public Health.
·
Directorate
of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy – responsible for providing AYUSH (Ayurveda,
Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy) services.
·
Directorate
of Family Welfare – focusing on family planning related initiatives.
·
Directorate
of Food Safety and Drugs Control – focusing on food safety and standards and
also on drug regulation and licensing as per the respective Central Acts and
Administration through two different wings respectively.
·
Directorate
of state health transport – responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the
vehicles of the various Directorates under health department, and family
welfare
·
Medical
Services Recruitment Board – Focusing on the recruitment of personnel for the
various cadres in the health sector in a speedy and transparent manner.
·
Chief
Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme – 2012.

Dr. Muthu
Lakshmi Reddy Maternity Benefit Scheme (MRMBS) and Amma Maternity Nutrition Kit
– since 2011.
